Duo Walburgis started their activity at Cello Academy Zutphen in Netherland. They currently studying with Prof. Jeroen den Herder and with Prof. Joachim Eijlander in Cello Academy Zutphen. The cellist Camelia Ciobanu (1995, Romania) graduated her Bachelor in music performance from the National University of Music Bucharest. She studied with prof. Judith Ermert at the Royal Conservatory of Gent and with prof. Daniel Geiss in Peter-Cornelius Konservatorium in Mainz. At the moment, she is doing her master in music performance at Codart conservatory in Rotterdam with prof.Joachim Eijlander. Camelia is a member of Romanian Youth Orchestra, Violoncellissimo Ensamble and a former member of Nemø ensemble – Splinters, Concerto Orchestra, Frascati Orchestra, ESYO and Chişinău Youth Orchestra. Along her musical and artistic development, she studied and performed with prestigious musicians, such as: Fenyo Laszlo, Maria Kliegel, Christoph Richter, Xenia Jankovic, Alessandro Moccia, Tiberiu Soare, Marin Cazacu, Igor Coretti, Cristian Mandeal, Horia Andreescu. She took part in numerous music festivals, such as: Young Euro Classic, Aurora Chamber Music Festival, Icon Arts, SIMN Festival and International cellofestival Zutphen and has won several prizes in instrumental solo competitions, as well as chamber music competitions: I Prize at the National Olympic in Romania, II Prize at George Georgescu International Competition, I Prize at „Drumul spre celebritate“ chamber music competition, finalists in „Miniatura romantica“ chamber music international competition. The pianist Hua-Hsuan Lee (1993,Taiwan) studied her bachelor with prof. Wei-lung Li in Tainan National University of the Arts and later on finished her master degree with Russian pianist Prof. Stepan Simonian at Hochschule fur Musik und Theater Hamburg in Germany. As a talented pianist, Hua-Hsuan Lee has been awarded prizes in numerous national and international competitions, including the first prize of International Cross-Strait Music Competition(2015), the first prize of International Violin & Piano Competition of Vienna (2011), the first prize of Taiwan Music Competition (2007) and the second prize of Taiwan National Student Competition(2007). Next to her soloist career, Hua-Hsuan has a great passion towards chamber music. She works and performs regularly with many great musicians such as Jeroen den Herder, Gaverial Lipkind, Leonid Gorokhov, Celine Flamen, Yibing Chu, Joachim Eijlander. Further, she has been invited by numerous international festivals such as Cellofestival Zutphen(2017-), International Beethoven festival Zutphen (2018) International Gümüşlük Classical Music Festival (2019,Turkey), Festival Lluc Mallorca(2019).
