Yang Xiao studied under famous piano professors Zhu Yafen, Lang Lang, Dan Zhaoyi, Hao Luyang and others. In 2016, she was admitted for Piano Major at Shenzhen Art School. Yang Xiao was invited to participate in many large performances and won the Piano Awards at home and abroad. She has performed at the National Grand Theater in Beijing, Hangzhou West Lake, Wuhan Qintai Concert Hall, Shenzhen Solo Concert Hall and Shenzhen Grand Theatre among others. In 2021 she performed with the Wuhan Philharmonic orchestra playing P. Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto No. 1. She won the Silver Prize at the National Professional Group of China Huanglong Piano Competition, the First Prize at the "Golden Sunflower" Piano Competition of China Merchants Bank, the 16th Place at Ludwig van Beethoven Piano Competition in Germany, and the First Place in the South China Division of the Professional Group of Steinway Piano Competition. She also participated in the National large-scale performance CCTV Spring Festival Gala. Xiao Yang has independently adapted large-scale film and television pop music into orchestral music, and it was successfully performed.
