The repertoire of Chamber Ensembles Competition
PIANO TRIO


General rules
  • The ensembles of the following instrumentation may participate in the Piano Trio category of the Chamber Ensembles Competition:
    • Violin, Cello and Piano
    • Oboe, Clarinet and Piano
    • Flute, Clarinet and Piano
  • Each participant shall prepare a programme following the repertoire requirements below. The selected programme should be stated in the application form.
  • Compositions in different rounds cannot be repeated.
  • The exact performance program for Chamber Ensembles will be determined by the Jury, whose decision will be announced to the contestants before the performance.
  • Participants who have logged in to their artistDB account will be able to change their programs and performance order until 15 February 2022
  • Participants will be required to perform their programs in the order of their own choice finally made in artistDB on 15 February 2022
  • Jury members could stop unprofessional performance.

  • PRESELECTION ROUND VIDEO: may be submitted, changed or modified until 31 January 2022.
    (The applicant must provide a valid YouTube video performance link about 10 - 15 minutes, where he/she/they performs a free program. Editing of the video recordings is prohibited, but different pieces may be recorded at different times and in different locations.)

  • Any J. Haydn's Piano Trio Hob. XV (1-41)
  • Any W. A. Mozart's Piano Trio
  • Any L. van Beethoven's Piano Trio
  • 1)One cyclic form chamber composition of the Classical period composer, written until 1830


    2) S. Vainiūnas. Piano Trio · (arrangement for Oboe by Caroline Savickiene, arrangements for Flute and Clarinet (in A, Bb) by Rimvydas Savickas)

    FINAL (the total duration of the Final performance should not exceed 50 minutes)


    Violin, Cello and Piano

    1) One Piano Trio from the Romantic Period

    1) One cyclic form chamber composition from the Romantic Period



    2) Piece by the XX or XXI century composer
